VINTG Navajo NativeAmerican SterlingSilver SleepingBeauty GemTurquoise Bracelet
FROM AN ESTATE: VINTAGE Navajo Native American. This bracelet came from the estate of my mother-in-law. She moved to Arizona in 1960 and became a serious collector of original native American art and jewelry. She would drive right to the actual reservations in order to find genuine and original pieces. It has an identifying "B" hallmark on the back and is marked "STERLING".

It measures 9 end to end. The ci rcumference measurement when the bracelet is closed is about 8 inches.

This is nice heavy piece, weighing 70 grams. This gorgeous bracelet features 14 gem grade, baguette-cut, sleeping beauty turquoise stones. The stones have the "true" blue turquoise color that is associated with the finest mined turquoise. Each of the 7 segments of this bracelet was crafted and hinged separately with meticulous precision, using 3-part barrel hinges. The clasp is secured by a press-on lock, and doubly protected by a latch.

On the latch are two intricately adorned feathers. It's not difficult to see that this bracelet represents the work of a silversmith who has reached the top of their craft.

This bracelet is in superb condition. It displays very minor normal wear with NO significant defects.

The stones are very well matched in color. Please refer to the photos in order to determine the actual condition.

If you LOVE turquoise, and appreciate the craftmanship that comes from a master silversmith, you won't want to miss this stunning bracelet! This is a private listing in order to protect your privacy.
