Vintage NATIVE AMERICAN Navajo TURQUOISE Heart Inlaid KNIFE / Letter Opener Case. VINTAGE KNIFE LETTER OPENER & CASE. Striking and unusual vintage hand made Native American Indian Knife and leather holder - steel knife measures 6-1/2 long and features a beveled edge graduating to sharp point with a raised, inlaid heart on each side - handle is carved wood ribbed to facilitate grip. Stone is Turquoise with a natural black spider veining as shown - knife end is complete with tinted leather cord and decorative turquoise plastic beads. Sheath holder is hand stitched up the sides with a fold over for belt wearing - there is a stamped bare foot logo on the end of the leather sheath - assuming maker's mark.

Condition is lovely with no damage other than the faintest scuffing on the wood handle, and just a hint of wear to the blue tinted leather cord. An unusual piece - perfect as a letter opener, but even better as a ladie's knife.
