It is carved from either alder or poplar with real human hair. The fantastic "teeth" are made from Opercula, a gastropod living here in NW coastal waters. The colors are red, green and black. It is quite large and impressive especially the teeth! It measures 16" tall by 13" wide.It has a deer hide cord for hanging and is signed as shown. There are a couple of cracks as pictured, not unusual as wood ages.
