You are looking at a Native American peace pipe. It is brand new, just made and has never been used or blessed.

This is genuine Pipestone otherwise known as Catlinite which was quarried by hand from the Sacred quarries located nearby at the Pipestone National Monument. This is a medium sized pipe that is large enough for ceremonial use since it is large enough to allow for multiple people to smoke from. It would also make a fine addition to any collection. This is a "four winds" style pipe.

The rings engraved at the top are meant to honor each of the 4 directions North, East, South and West. The rings show you what the stone looked like prior to being polished with bees wax. The bowl alone measures 4-1/2 inches long and stands 2-3/4 inches tall. The Stem is made from Pine.

It measures 11-1/2 inches long. Fit snug into the hole when seeded to the pipe and has an excellent seal with no air leaks and a good draw. It is also rubbed with an oil to high light the natural beaty of the wood grain. The stem is only intended to be inserted into the pipe as far as the fit marks on the flange of the stem. Inserting it further than what it is designed for you run the risk of breaking the pipe. Insert the stem with a gently twist. Improper handing may result in breaking your pipe.

It is stone, and therefore fragile. When seeded together the pipe and stem measure 16-1/2 inches long. Each pipe is very unique in its own way. Be sure to look closely at the photos. Each pipe is truly one of a kind with its own individual characteristics.

I have photos of the pipe and stem joined together to show you that it is drilled straight. All my items are hand made. These are not 3D printed, or made on a machine. A lineal descendent of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe although not enrolled myself. In the event you are not happy, please contact me first and I will work with you to fix the situation.
