Vintage Creek Nation Indian Pottery Yellow Red Drip Plates and Bowls. Beautiful bright yellow pottery with a red drip pattern.Signed on bottom with "CREEK" and with a teepee logo. These dishes are heavy and thick. All 4 plates are in great condition. The bowls are in very good condition. 1 bowl has a couple of small chips on the rim.
1 bowl has a crack. A couple have tiny chips on the bottom.Plates measure 11 in diameter. Bowls measure 7 in diameter. And approx 2 1/2 in height. These dishes are in clean condition. There are several flea bites. Creek Indian Pottery, was a short lived pottery company formed by Chief W. McIntosh who started the business in the 1960s, with the assistance of John Frank of Frankoma Potteries. It was handcrafted in Checotah, Oklahoma. The Plant closed in 1976.
