Vintage Plains Style Native American Spear. This is a one-of-a-kind collectable item.
Spear head knapped from Ohio River Flint and sinew wrapped to attach it to an all-natural wooden staff. It is authentically decorated with feathers, fur, and rawhide-stained leather hand stitched hand grip. The red fabric ties were added to the spear to indicate that this warrior has been in battle and taken an enemy scalp (made of buffalo head hair) and is tied to it.
The overall length is 82" long and the spear head measures 8". The feather drop made of real buffalo leather and decorated in the plains style, decorated with pre-European style beads, buffalo tube beads and teeth. This is a vintage museum grade collectable Native American Spear. Great for man the cave, office, or for rustic wall décor, it is an eye catcher.
This is a one-of-a-kind item and is very collectable as a part of Native American Tradition craftmanship. No illegal items or products have been utilized in the making of this lance.
